Promising Practices Network

Operated by the US Rand Corporation, the Promising Practices Network provides evidence-based information on proven models, which it describes as those that make a positive impact on one outcome in a child's life of 20% or a quarter of a standard deviation or more, and promising programs that have an impact on at least one outcome of at least one per cent. The site sets out the criteria that bar programs from inclusion, for example, the lack of a comparison group or inadequate sample size.
