Jerry Lee Centre of Experimental Criminology

The Jerry Lee Centre of Experimental Criminology synthesizes evidence and undertakes randomized controlled trials related to crime prevention programs, policing and criminal justice initiatives. Research focuses primarily on restorative justice and prediction and prevention of homicide.
The centre was founded in 2007 by the Jerry Lee Foundation (based in Philadelphia) at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge. It works closely with the Jerry Lee Centre of Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania. The centre is directed by Wolfson Professor of Criminology, Lawrence Sherman.
