The Eyberg Child Behaviour Inventory is a comprehensive, behaviorally specific rating scale designed to assess the frequency and severity of disruptive behaviors in the home and school, as well as the extent to which parents and teachers find the behavior troublesome.
Parents or teachers indicate how often each behavior occurs on a seven-point intensity scale and whether or not it is a problem. Its distributors say scores can computed by hand in about five minutes.
Its developer, Shelia Eyberg, is a professor in the department of clinical and health psychology at the University of Florida.
