Project Towards No Drug Abuse (Project TND) is a six to eight week substance abuse prevention program that targets all High School children between the ages of 14 to 19. Trained teachers help children to develop the skills and knowledge they need to make more informed decisions and choice about drugs. Developed in 1992 by Steve Sussman, Project TND has been proven effective by several randomized controlled studies. It is now a Blueprints model program and has received endorsements from SAMHSA and NIDA.
