Kenneth Dodge

Ken Dodge is the first Director of the Center for Child and Family Policy and Professor of Public Policy Studies, Psychology, Social and Health Sciences at Duke University. His work bridges basic scientific research on child development with public policy affecting children and families. With colleagues, Dodge created the Fast Track Program, a comprehensive effort to prevent the development of chronic violence in high-risk children. This program is being implemented and evaluated in four regions of the US, with promising outcomes.
