Dan Offord

Dan Offord was founding director of the Offord Centre for Child Studies and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University Canada. A world leader in child development and child psychiatry, Offord was a scientist, clinician and advocate for children. His landmark Ontario Child Health Study became a model for similar work around the world. He died in 2000.
