Parent Management Training

Parent Management Training (PMT) refers to an array of empirically-supported educational programs designed to enhance the parenting skills of parents of children with problematic behaviors such as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Programs typically include sections on quality time, problem specification, positive reinforcement, effective monitoring and time out.
