Run jointly by the Institute for Effective Education and the Trials Unit at the University of York, this conference will look at the use of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in evaluating policy interventions.
Keynote presentations will come from Professor David Weisburd, Director of the Institute of Criminology at the Hebrew University, Professor George Mason, Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy and Professor Tom Walley, Director of Health Technology Assessment Programme, University of Liverpool.
The conference will be an opportunity for delegates to share expertise, interests, and concerns about conducting trials in all fields of public policy.
